Born in Buffalo, New York, in 1966, Stephanie Miceli-Armenia spent most of her free time in a magical stockroom in the back of her family’s famous pizzeria. Along with her brother, Vince and sister, Marisa they would concoct science experiments, climb towers of Genesee Beer and order everything off the menu with a side of ginger ale and cherries.

After the Great Buffalo Blizzard of 77 she escaped with her parents to Florida and eventually graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Communications. In 1991 she married her love, Sam Armenia and had two very funny, laugh out loud children, Roma Nina and Juliana.

Armenia says: “It was their kindergarten teacher, Susan Reiss who first inspired my children to care about the earth and now teachers everywhere will be inspiring all children as they pledge to be little green ambassadors of our earth. This is full circle joy.”
